- Step by step description, including actions to be developed for preparation and implementation:
- - Assessment of developmental abilities - Creation of a personalized program - Individual treatment (two to three times a week with a duration of 60 minutes where within a few months progress of the treatment plan is evident. With children where the effect of the environment is primary to the existing diagnosis, treatment is done five times a week, even though often without satisfying results. - Treatment goes through all the above stated areas: imitation, receptive skills, expressive skills, motor skills, individuality, pre-academic and academic skills, as well as socialization in phases. When a certain number of skills are adopted from the segment of treatment, it can then be generalized that the child has acquired that primary skill i.e. imitation. - When a child becomes capable of spontaneous functioning within their environment concerning spontaneous speech, use of knowledge, skills, etc., it is then recommended for the child to enter an adequate type of education, while remaining under the supervision of the special teacher within the treatment program (thus, if the child was in individual treatment only, they continue individual treatment while entering education level such as pre-school.) - Advisory work with parents.
- Resources to be used, including human resources, materials and spaces:
- Human resources – special teacher, educator, rehabilitator Materials – 3D objects, pictures, Materials are used according to specific rules while learning certain terms. First is identification of objects. When a child adopts a certain number (10-15) objects, then we include into the treatment pictures, and we are beginning to expand the capacity of terms.
- Difficulties found while implementing it:
- Behaviour with which the children enter treatment with (then during treatment we aid ourselves with floor time technique, brain gym technique, and ABA program). Social isolation Suggestion: intervention at the earliest age possible.
